After breakfast, you will depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours through Maasai countryside and open savannah landscapes.

Tarangire is widely known for its impressive concentration of elephants and its iconic baobab trees, which create one of the most recognisable landscapes in Tanzania. The Tarangire River serves as the main water source for wildlife in the area, attracting large numbers of animals throughout the year.

During your game drive of approximately 4–5 hours, you may encounter elephant families, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hartebeest, and numerous antelope species. Lions and leopards are also present, often found near areas where prey animals gather. Tarangire is also home to an exceptional diversity of birdlife, making it a rewarding destination for both wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

After breakfast, you will begin your journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic highlands and vast open landscapes that define Northern Tanzania’s safari circuit.

The journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, including scenic stops and wildlife sightings along the way. As the landscape opens into endless plains, you will begin to understand why the Serengeti is one of the most celebrated wildlife destinations in the world.

Serengeti National Park is famous for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife and dramatic scenery. It is also home to the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the most remarkable natural events on earth, where vast herds move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to your luxury tented lodge located in the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti’s rich wildlife environment, offering opportunities to encounter a remarkable variety of animals within one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.

Morning and afternoon game drives allow you to fully appreciate the Serengeti’s diverse habitats, including open plains, kopjes, river systems, and acacia woodland. The region supports strong populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hyenas, and numerous antelope species.

Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration, when large herds of wildebeest and zebra move across the plains in search of greener pastures.

A picnic lunch may be enjoyed inside the park or you may choose to return to camp during the heat of the day before continuing your afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way.

Descending approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater offers one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in Africa. Formed when a giant volcano collapsed millions of years ago, the crater now forms a natural sanctuary supporting a high concentration of animals within a relatively small area.

During your crater game drive of approximately 5–6 hours, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hyenas, hippos, flamingos, and with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic site near the hippo pool before continuing with wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Later, you will ascend the crater rim and continue to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will drive to nearby Lake Manyara National Park, a journey of approximately 30 to 45 minutes, offering a final safari experience before returning to Arusha.

Lake Manyara is known for its beautiful scenery and ecological diversity. The park features lush groundwater forests, acacia woodland, open plains, and the shallow alkaline lake that attracts seasonal flamingos and other bird species.

The park is home to elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, baboons, blue monkeys, and many other species. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare behaviour occasionally observed in this unique environment.

After a game drive of approximately 4–5 hours, you will enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing the drive back to Arusha, which typically takes around 2.5 hours.

Depending on your travel arrangements, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight or continue to your next destination such as Zanzibar.
